The streaks of sunlight seem to foreshadow a great trip to Washington, hopefully without rain! Time to mount up and begin our seven hour journey! (Normally, only four hours!) At our breakfast stop, Mike is calling Joe to find out what's on the menu!(Steak and Eggs?)

Kathy slowing us down by shopping, until we all drop, at Cracker Barrel! Great view from our hotel balcony of the Potomac, Georgetown, and the Key Bridge. Amazingly, we arrived early enough on Sat. to get down to Thunder Alley and Fast Mike enjoys the O.C.C. Liberty Bike.

Kathy complaining to Campo, of O.C.C., about the prices of their shirts. Needless to add; she didn't get an autograph!

Who is responsible for this picture and how did it get on our web site?
Orange County Chopper's tribute to Rolling Thunder, the POW bike, was on hand to be ridden in the Run to the Wall. However, someone said it wasn't in the parade.

Kim, Maggie, and Mickey enjoy the BBQ Connie and Regina look on as Anthony toasts us all! Half our group is absolutely thrilled to be eating!

This group thinks the other group is paying the check! The cast of characters outside of our favorite D.C. eatery! Government Project: Four supervisors, two workers!

Joe and his son, Anthony, enjoying dinner and each other! Kathy contemplating pushing Tom over the rail into the Potomac!
Jim and Brenda, without a care, ride off with Kathy's bike! Mike is helped by his family to prepare for the parade. The NYPD wants to know why Kenny looks like a homeless person!

Bikes are directed into the Pentagon parking lot. Bikes continue to roll in over a four hour period! Dennis makes it into the Pentagon before passing out!

Kathy attempts to ride off with Tom's bike! Al asks Carl if he's seen his bike around! It's the black low rider. Duct tape and a video recorder and you have a helmet cam!

This critter had a disposition of an animal twenty times its size! All four chapters of ASMC are represented in this picture! Gary went to sleep with his helmet on as to be ready to ride at a moments notice!

Anthony about to create havoc! Riding toward the Lincoln Memorial. Spectators eager to greet the riders.

This Marine stood at Present Arms for the entire duration of the parade, over four hours... ...and he acknowledged each rider by making eye contact and with a subtle nod. The Capitol Building is always an impressive sight.

We wish to extend our warmest regards and express our appreciation to each and every person who attended this year's Rolling Thunder. You could not help but be emotionally moved by the salutes and the "thanks" offered by the WWII veterans watching the parade. It is all of us who owe them, yet they felt honored by our presence; we will never forget any of those men and women who so noblely served, in times of war and in times of peace, that their Nation would forever persevere.
