Kathy P., Micky, and a Harley Davidson factory employee that worked on Kathy's 2003 sportster. Kathy P. and Tom P. at the Nebraska marker for the Oregon Trail. Circle the wagons!

Mickey, Kathy P., Mike G., Kathy G., Tom P., Jimmy, Brenda, Deborah, Mike V., and Al outside yet another motorcycle attraction. Mickey, Kathy P., Tom P., and Mike G. taking a moment to take in some more of the sites.

Steamtown National Park, Scranton PA, April 2005
With Amtrack looking for faster locomotives, Jack waits his turn to pull the 11:04AM commuter train. The group gets comfortable on the comfy leather seats which were last cleaned in the 1920s. Jack takes the controls even though the GPS was out. Here's a picture of Steamtown as an abandoned rail yard prior to its renovation.

Steamtown showing major changes after renovations are nearly completed. Its exhibits are very entertaining as well as informative. Prior to becoming a National Park the train yard in Scranton PA was a connection point for hundreds of trains and millions of consumers. Power washing was vital for both train and engineer. This method of cleaning trains has remained virtually unchanged over the years. Good-bye from Steamtown as Tom and Kathy bid you a fond farwell from the caboose's rear deck.

Lost Wheels Poker Run, September, 2004
Cookie, Kathy, Lydia, and Dennis are trying to figure out where everyone went. Catching up, Sal reaches out for a hand, and Zorba needs a sandwich!
John2 can't believe he bought a purple bike, Dave and Kathy congratulate Linda on her navigational skills, our bikes are in there somewhere, and naturally, we pose for our customary group shot! (photos contributed by Mike G.)

Salute to Veterans Run, June, 2004
Anthony, Jack, Al, Kathy, Katie, Tom, (not pictured) Dave and Linda, at Stewart Airport. Dave was off lookig for donuts! Katie with a beautifully restored "Willy's" Jeep. Thankfully the weapon is not functional! That's Tom standing with a 5-Ton wrecker just like the he drove for so many years with HHC 242d Sig Bn! We were extremely pleased to see that the command of the NY State Troopers has such good taste in motorcycles!

Doesn't Kodak have a blimp? Anthony is upset with all the dust! Al wants to know if this thing works like a Harley! What a welcome by the folks in Highland Falls; the entire Main St. is filled with bikes!

New York State Historic Site, Olana
May 23, 2004
Many of our excursions begin with a visit to Cracker Barrel. Kathy isn't in this photo because she's inside shopping! The center photo highlights the tower over the "Formal" entrance to the Olana mansion. Charlie enjoys the view of the Hudson from the front of Olana.
Charlie was just so thrilled at arriving at Olana and experiencing its beauty, he broke into an Irish Jig! Gary looks on in amazement. Gary has discovered his love of flowers and has decided to dedicate his life to a new calling; botany! Actually, he asked the gardener if the plants were edible! In a dream sequence, Michael is showing off his front yard. The nightmare began with the arrival of the tax bill! Olana is a bit more than three hundred arces overlooking the Hudson, north of Rhinebeck.
Spike and Sticker Man along way from Brooklyn! As they say, "You can take the boys out of Brooklyn, but you can't take Brooklyn out of the boys!" "Oh, Mr. Tom, they got clams here?" "No, but if Danny was here, he'd get Rose to get us some coffee!" Quite a group enjoyed our little trip up to Olana. You'll note, members from each down-state chapters were present!
Okay, a quiz; who jumped into the picture and broke the bench? Carl thinks this joint would make a marvelous club house! Kathy wants to know, "Who are those people in my picture?"

Christmas Party 2003
Sitting down to a relaxing bite of dessert. Carl was so eager to get started he forgot a fork. R-L: Al (back to camera), Mike V., Mike G., Sal and Pattie all set to dig in. The snacks and appetizers were in no shortage. Except maybe Kate's spinach dip! Cake.
R-L: Al, Tom and Joe B. enjoy some good eats and some portion of the Jets game. From the looks it the game wasn't too exciting. As Jack poses for Kenny (hands to the left), Jerry gives birth to a Sponge Bob balloon. OUCH! R-L: Mike V., Kathy P., Joe (Kate's man), Jack, Dolores and Danny (our host). Mike V. finishes off what he thinks is his drink, while Danny wonders where his ashtray went.
Joe B. and Danny share a laugh about something funny. Dolores stares down Kathy P. after taking her seat as Tom and Mike P. try to watch TV. Merry Christmas!! Dolores, with her seat back, engages Mike G. in a moving conversation while Tom races to finish his drink. Another round guys?
Kenny uses his gift, which didn't include keys to a new Harley, as a foot rest. Never has glue and nail worked harder!

New York Air Show 2003
L-R: Jerry, Kate, Kathy P. and Mike P. attend New York Air Show on Long Island. One of the hardest working defenders or freedom in the air, the B-52 "Flying Fortress". One of only a few still flying in the world. A pickup truck powered by a jet engine! What type of brakes is he using?! This ground limited attraction put on a great show.
A good looking World War II P-51 and P-49 fighter planes put on a nice display of maneuvers. Aero Shell stunt team with some fancy flying. More amazingly close maneuvers by Aero Shell aerial stunt team.

AMA Grand National Dirt Track Vernon Downs, NY 2003
Carl and Mike P. getting ready to head off to Vernon Downs Raceway for some mile dirt track racing. Great weather made for even better riding. Some of the pro 750 Harleys head out for some practice. These beasts can get up to 140mph on the long quarter mile straight-aways. Did I mention it's dirt! R-L: Tom and Carl hang out on the tracks fence as the 750s fly by in the background. For once the weather cooperates for the elusive NY mile race.

Sturgis, SD 2003
Tom in the middle of the Badlands South Dakota. Nice foreground but an even more majestic background. Picture from South Dakota. On the main streets of Sturgis showing off the Colors of American Spirit MC.
Kathy P. across the way from the Skull Bar. Which is appropriately named as skulls litter it's roof and interior. Kathy P. and her sportster 883 near the state border sign for Wyoming.

ASMC Club Scenes Through the Years
Almost the entire crew with friends and family. Having a great time at our 2002 Christmas party. Here we are getting ready to munch on some great southern BBQ at Red Hot & Blue. Looks like we had some beautiful weather.....at last!!! Another strong showing for our Club at Rolling Thunder's Annual Rally in Washington DC. All three chapters are represented in this picture.
A group shot after another great monthly meeting. Gathered in front on "the barn" at Jimmy's. Looking set for, what used to be, our yearly summer cook-out and fireworks extravaganza.
